Dr. Mitchell

Originally from Scotland. Dr. Mitchell received his undergraduate degree from Manchester Metropolitan University, his dental degree at Birmingham University and his post-graduate training from Univesity of Florida.

Dr. Mitchell has practiced dentistry since 1996 and is active in his profession. He belongs to tha American Dental Association (ADA), Academy of General Dentistry, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (AACD), American Academy of Dental Anesthesiology (ADSA), The Florida Dental Society of Anesthesiology (FDSA).

He has advanced training in dental sedation and the palcement of dental implants. Dr. Mitchell enjoys learning and is a member of the Spear Education program. Dr. Mitchell is an adjunct professor and clinical instructor at Daytona State College of Dental Hygiene. Dr Mitchell enjoys travelling, family time (with his three children), learning languages, audiobooks, cooking, wine tasting as well as health and fitness.

Dr. Yassa

Originally from Egypt, Dr. Tony Yassa celebrates multiculturalism and seeks to demonstrate care for all people. He has been a resident of Volusia County and New Smyrna Beach for most of his life and enjoys being connected in the community.

He attended the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa earning a bachelor’s in biomedical sciences. With a growing desire to serve others he chose dentistry as his career path. He then pursued his passionate pursuit of a career in dentistry. He completed his studies and practicum at Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine (GSDM).

Dr. Yassa seeks to allow his faith and values to guide his decisions, ethics, and relationships. He believes every person deserves compassion, respect, and empathy. This is reflected in his dedication to delivering personalized care that leaves patients with a happy, confident smile. In his spare time, he enjoys time with family, staying active, playing sports, and enjoying the outdoors.
